(Nasdaq:CELL), the global leader in providing supply chain solutions to the wireless industry, today announced that the Brightpoint Center of Excellence in Boras, Sweden is operational and equipped to provide extensive logistics and distribution services for its customers.
The Center of Excellence will act as a hub for the Nordic region, servicing Brightpoint customers throughout Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and the Baltics, in addition to our satellite warehouses in Norway and Finland. All core logistics will be performed from the 145,000 square foot facility, including forward and reverse supply chain services for MNOs, MVNOs, and other telecom customers. The state-of-the-art facility will be equipped to expertly handle all mobile handset, modem, and equipment business needs. The transition of existing customers and vendor partners to the Center of Excellence will continue throughout the first half of 2011, and the Center will be fully operational by the third quarter of 2011.
