Bogart Group (Euronext Paris – Compartment B – FR0012872141 – JBOG), which specializes in the creation, manufacture and commercialization of luxury fragrances and cosmetics, has announced the launch of a collection of seven Carven fragrances, premiering today at Selfridges in the United Kingdom.
The new collection pays tribute to Carven founder, Carmen de Tommaso, known as "the smallest of big couturiers". A pioneer, Carven believed that the perfume MADE the dress and therefore set about creating fragrances that were as fresh and elegant as her outfits. With this tribute from Carven Parfums, the Bogart Group has drawn inspiration from the designer's illustrious heritage and passion for travel to develop:
7 fragrances, 7 destinations, 7 unforgettable impressions
PARIS-SEVILLE: A flamenco dress embroidered with elegant green flowers.
PARIS-FLORENCE: The dolce vita encapsulated in a violet toile de Jouy print dress.
PARIS-BANGALORE: A sunset yellow dress as soft as cashmere.
PARIS-SAO PAULO: A psychedelic floral-print skirt.
PARIS-IZMIR: A rose pattern sprinkled over a white tulle flared dress.
PARIS-MANILLE: East meets West in this mysteriously luminous rendition of a sweetly delicate pastel print.
PARIS-MASCATE: The scent of an oasis on a gold silk brocade dress.
Following the world premiere at Selfridges in the United Kingdom, the collection will be launched at Nordstrom in the United States, Rive Gauche in Russia, Dubai Duty Free and a selection of leading independent perfumeries in France and Italy.
David Konckier, Bogart Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said: "These seven new fragrances will further increase awareness of the Carven brand internationally, particularly in travel retail. Carven's presence in the most prestigious selective perfumeries confirms our brands' outstanding positioning among the leaders of niche fragrances, a new segment for our Group. These launches offer the brand excellent exposure and form the natural next step in its process of regularly enhancing its range and diversifying its distribution channels."
