Auplata (Euronext Growth - FR0010397760 - ALAUP), the leading French listed gold producer, announces that it has crossed the threshold of 10% of the capital of Element ASA (ISIN code NO0003055808), Norwegian investment company in the mining sector listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. It currently holds 9,600,000 shares, representing 14% of the share capital, which makes it the main shareholder of the norwegian company.
Through this acquisition, Auplata is showing interest in Element ASA's mineral resources. Auplata also believes in potential synergies with Element ASA and, in particular, with the latter's Initial Coin Offering (ICO) project.
