Tanguy Ndombele, the young midfielder from Amiens, has been temporarily transferred to Olympique Lyonnais for the 2017/18 season.
Trained at Guingamp, Tanguy Ndombele joined Amiens in 2014 and was one of the players instrumental in the club's promotion to Ligue 1, playing in 27 matches and scoring two goals. Tanguy was a starter in his club's first three Ligue 1 matches the season and has been selected to play with the France Espoir TEAM tomorrow against Chile.
The amount of the temporary transfer is €2 million. There is also a purchase OPTION of €8 million with potential incentives of €0.25 million and an earn-out of 20% of the capital gain on any future transfer.
Olympique Lyonnais has also agreed to transfer Sergi Darder, who had expressed his desire to play in another country several times since the beginning of this season.
In this context, OL reached an agreement with Espanyol Barcelona to transfer Sergi temporarily for €0.3 million. There is also a purchase option of €8 million with potential incentives of up to €2 million and an earn-out of up to 20% on the amount of any future transfer. The transfer will be confirmed between now and the evening of 1 September once the customary technical conditions have been met.
Olympique Lyonnais is very pleased with the results of the summer transfer window. The club was able to renew its roster with eight new, experienced or promising young players: Fernando Marçal, Bertrand Traoré, Ferland Mendy, Kenny Tete, Mariano Diaz, Marcelo, Pape Cheikh Diop and now Tanguy Ndombele. The summer's transfers generated a positive balance of €70 million excluding incentives for OL (€120 million in sales and €50 million in acquisitions).
