Store Electronic Systems announced that it has been selected by Système U as the Group’s exclusive supplier for its electronic labelling solutions over the next two years. This decision came as the conclusion of a comparative study of the SES solution vs. competing systems, conducted by Système U.
Since 1998, SES has installed 420 U stores of all formats (hypermarkets, supermarkets and convenience stores), 300 of which have been equipped over the last four years.
As Arnaud Porcher, a U store owner and leader of the Group’s “Equipment Department” explained, “The performance, robustness and ease of use of the SES solution have met the expectations of U store owners for over 10 years now. SES’ ability to provide the store owners with true product innovation was another decisive factor.”
Pierre Demoures, SES VP sales France, added, “We are delighted that the U group has renewed its trust in SES. This points to the nearly 1000 outlets that are not yet equipped, and enables us to offer stores that already use the system the opportunity to upgrade to a new generation of solutions.”
