The fourth quarter has been slighty impacted by bad weather. Still, the fiscal year results are in line with the September forecast which had been revised upwards.
Service and maintenance activities growth 7.4% and account for 39.4% of consolidated sales. Order intake is up 4.5% despite a decline in Spain and UK. Higher raw material prices combined with lower sales prices have been offset by the group developments in Asia.
The 2010 EBIT should be close to 2009. Exchange losses cannot be estimated yet. A non-reccuring provision stemming from a legal procedure launched in Germany by the Federal antitrust Department against all members of the automatic door manufacturers association will impact our results.
2011 perspectives:
Though some segments (US, UK, maintenance of lifts) are lagging behind others, globally the recession in our markets appears to have come to an end.
